Cameron Hughes working hard
in the Elite A Road Race
Ffast was well represented in last weekend’s racing with a number of fantastic podium finishes!
In the Women’s Under 19 Time Trial, competing for the State Championship, Shanice Nitis (Ffast) took Gold with a time of 27 mins 16 secs in front of silver medal winner, Bridget Mohr (Balmoral). In the Men’s TT, Nicholas Dougall (Ffast) came in 7th place, a shade under 5 mins behind the winner of Thomas Richards (Ipswich).
In the road racing, the Men’s Under 19’s were out again. Unfortunately Ffast didn’t get anyone into the top eight for the 125km race. Congratulations to Jay McCarthy (Fraser Coast) for his win.

Nikolai Razouvaev winning the
Masters A Road Race
The Elite Men’s A Road Race saw our very own Cameron Hughes (Ffast) take out the main prize with a big finish over Reuben Donati (Byron Bay Freeriders) and Michael England (Dutton Cycles). Elite Men’s B Road Race didn’t see any Ffast members in the top places, the race being won by Timothy Dalgliesh (Victor).
Moving through the events, Ffast had another win in the Men’s Masters A Road Race with Nikolai Razouvaev (Ffast) a clear finish over Peter Roper (Gold Coast) and Anthony Wood (Balmoral).
In the other grades, Jason Portas (Ffast) got third in the Elite Men’s C and Daryl Speight 4th in the Men’s Masters B.
